Cognitive Assessment Sydney

We offer psychometric assessments to evaluate an individual’s level of cognitive and academic functioning. We provide these tests for individuals across the age range.

Why Complete an Assessment?

The assessments can assist in understanding the strengths and weaknesses of your child’s learning. The results can also assist with the diagnosis of the following conditions:

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
  • Intellectual Functioning
  • Specific Learning Difficulty
  • Dyslexia
  • Giftedness

Most importantly, we provide you with a list of recommendations to assist your child’s learning in the future.

We do not currently provide assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder.

What Will Happen?

Our skilled psychologist will firstly need to complete an initial interview with the child, and then conduct the assessment, which takes approximately 2 hours. The answers will be analysed, and a report will be generated. Lastly, a feedback session with the psychologist and parent/s is completed, providing a breakdown of the primary findings. The feedback session also provides a safe space for parents to ask any questions they may have, discuss the diagnosis (where appropriate) and recommendations for interventions.

The cost to complete the full assessment ranges between $1800 and $2000 depending on the amount of testing required for the young person. Medicare does not provide rebates to clients for these reports.

Please get in touch with reception on if you are interested in booking an assessment.
